Checkpoint® Nerve Stimulator/Locator

The Checkpoint® Nerve Stimulator/Locator is a single-use, sterile device designed to provide electrical stimulation of exposed motor nerves or muscle tissue during surgical procedures. It assists surgeons in locating and identifying nerves and testing nerve and muscle excitability.

Key Features:

• Selective Amplitude Control: The device offers adjustable amplitude settings of 0.5mA, 2mA, and 20mA, allowing surgeons to tailor the stimulation intensity for precise nerve localization or broader muscle activation.

• Pulse Width Modulation: A pulse duration slider enables continuous fine-tuning of stimulus parameters at each amplitude level, providing flexibility in nerve and muscle stimulation.

• 360° LED Indicator: A visual indicator light provides continuous confirmation that stimulation is being delivered, enhancing intraoperative confidence.

• Built-in Power Supply: Equipped with self-contained batteries, the Checkpoint® 9094 eliminates the need for external power sources, reducing clutter in the sterile field.

Applications:

• Nerve Identification: Assists in locating and confirming motor nerves, even in anatomies altered by scarring, tumors, or previous surgeries.

• Functional Assessment: Enables evaluation of nerve and muscle excitability, aiding in intraoperative decision-making to optimize patient outcomes.

• Surgical Versatility: Ideal for use in various procedures, including head and neck surgeries, where precise nerve mapping and protection are critical.
